Eligibility: Eligible candidates for the BRSN Fellowship include individuals who have obtained a doctoral-level degree (PhD, MD, M.Phil, ScD, DVM, M.Pharm, etc.) in nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution. Applicants must have notable accomplishments as lead, senior, or other authors of peer-reviewed nutrition publications. Additionally, candidates should be within three years of receiving their doctoral degree or be young professionals who have completed a nutrition or related degree within the past three years.
Benefit: Members awarded the BRSN Fellowship (FBRSN) designation are privileged to write “FBRSN” after their name as a mark of their distinguished membership qualification. To apply for the BRSN Fellowship, interested candidates must submit their applications by December 1 each year. The application should include three references, with at least two being active Fellows of the Society and a professor recommendation letter from their institution. Successful candidates will be notified of their fellowship status after a rigorous evaluation.
